Mentavo

Your everyday life.
Finally connected.

Mentavo connects what you record with what you talk through — and something concrete can come out of it. A system, rather than another collection of separate entries.

Thoughts

„After work, I just have zero energy left.“

Conversations

„I know what I should do. But I keep putting it off.“
  • Mood: Low energy
  • Routine: Skipped training
  • Goal: No progress in 4 days

Mentavo connects them.

Personal context

What came together in a day.

A mood in the morning, a thought at lunch, a routine in the evening. On its own, none of it says much. Together it is a day.

That is how Mentavo shows it to you: not as five separate lists, but in one place.

  • What gets counted

Routines, goals, goal steps, check-ins and journal entries. Mentavo counts what actually exists for that day.

  • The gaps are visible too

A day without a journal entry shows a zero. Mentavo doesn't fill anything in, and it infers nothing from what is missing.

  • You can add to it later

If something comes back to you afterwards, you can still add a check-in or an entry to that day.

  • The basis for everything else

This is what the coach and your daily focus fall back on — instead of looking at each area in isolation.

Coach

One coach. No mode to pick first.

You talk to Mentavo — not to eight different coaches. What a message is really about is something Mentavo works out itself: whether you want to sort something through, think a decision over, or simply talk.

And a conversation doesn't start from nothing. Mentavo can draw on what you have already recorded in the app.

  • No switching modes

You just start writing. If the subject shifts mid-conversation, Mentavo shifts with it — nothing for you to change.

  • Pick up, don't restart

The coach offers you threads worth continuing: a journal entry from today, or a routine that is on your mind.

  • Conversations stay

Earlier conversations can be picked up again. You don't have to explain a topic from scratch every time.

  • All in one place

Earlier conversations stay reachable under “All conversations”, instead of getting lost in a list of chats.

Beyond the conversation

What you talk through with Mentavo doesn't have to end in the chat.

In most apps a conversation stays where it happened. Once it scrolls out of view, it is effectively gone.

Mentavo can keep what came up about you, and return to it later. Outside the conversation too — in what it suggests for your day.

  • Not every word — the substance

What stays are single points: a subject that is on your mind, a decision still open, something that has helped you before.

  • Selective, never wholesale

Mentavo never loads your entire history. A conversation draws on a small selection — the part that fits the message in front of it.

  • Your correction wins

If you say something no longer holds, what you say now takes precedence over what was stored.

  • No explaining it three times

You don't have to set out what you're dealing with from scratch in every new conversation.

For Mentavo, anything stored is background rather than proof: a goal is an intention, not progress. A routine is no evidence that you did it.

From conversation to action

A sentence can turn into a next step.

When something comes up in a conversation that you want to hold on to, Mentavo offers the matching step as a card beneath its reply.

Nothing is created before you confirm it. You see what it would be, and you can change it first.

  • Five possible steps

A goal, a goal step, a routine, a journal entry or a check-in — depending on what the conversation was about.

  • Always confirmed by you

The suggestion is an offer. Only your tap on the button creates anything in Mentavo.

  • Adjustable beforehand

Title, rhythm and time can be changed right inside the card before you accept it.

  • Not a pile of advice

Mentavo won't propose several lasting commitments at once. A suggestion stays a single offer.

Check-ins

Short when short is all you have. Deeper when you want it.

A check-in can be a single gesture: how are you right now? One slider, done.

If you want to record more, Mentavo takes you a step at a time — and every one of those steps is optional.

  • The way in

Mood on a scale from 0 to 10, with the value put into words rather than left as a bare number.

  • What you can add

Feelings, influences, needs, tension, physical signals, and what did you good today.

  • The options learn with you

Feelings that come up often for you sit at the top under “Often for you” — the full list stays available.

  • None of it is a diagnosis

Physical signals are your own perception. Mentavo doesn't rate them and draws no medical conclusion from them.

Journal

Write it down, even when you don't know where to start.

Sometimes it is obvious what wants to be written. Often it isn't — and that is exactly when the blank page stays blank.

So Mentavo can hand you a prompt: a single question to write your way along.

  • Free or guided

Start writing straight away — or pick a theme such as “sorting your thoughts”, “decisions” or “letting go & perspective”.

  • A prompt, not a questionnaire

If the question doesn't fit, ask for another one or carry on without it.

  • Title optional

An entry needs no heading. Leave it out and the entry is still easy to find later.

  • Speak instead of type

What is hard to type you can dictate — voice input is available from Mentavo Pro.

  • Pick it up later

An entry need not be the last word. Mentavo offers it in the coach as a thread to continue, if you want to talk it over.

Today

Your day, brought down to what matters.

Instead of a list to work through, Mentavo shows a compact status for the day and exactly one next step — along with the reason that tipped the balance.

“Today” in detail

Planning

An intention turns into something that recurs.

Goals hold on to where you want to go; goal steps break them into something doable; routines add repetition. Planning shows both on the day they are due.

Planning in detail

Der Bereich „Planung“ in Mentavo: die Wochenleiste, die Ansichten Heute, Monat und Liste, die heutigen Routinen sowie die Einstiege zu Zielen und Routinen.

Discover

Connections that get lost in a busy week.

The Mentavo Map shows what currently belongs together — one topic in focus, surrounded by the areas that occur alongside it. Every connection can be opened up: you see how many comparison days it rests on, and what runs counter to it.

“Discover” and the evidence in detail

Analytics

Direction, not daily form.

Single days fluctuate. Across weeks it becomes visible what has actually shifted — in mood, journaling, activity, goals and routines. Summarised, not scored.

“Analytics” in detail

Frequently asked questions.

What is Mentavo?

Mentavo connects your thoughts, mood, goals, routines, and conversations – helping you see what truly matters today.

Do I have to pick a coach or a mode before a conversation?

No. You talk to one coach — Mentavo. There is no mode and no perspective to set beforehand: you simply write, and Mentavo works out what the message is about. If the subject shifts mid-conversation, Mentavo shifts with it.

What does the coach know about me?

Mentavo can draw on relevant information from what you have recorded in the app — your goals, routines, check-ins and earlier topics, for example. It never loads your whole history; it selects a small, relevant part that fits the message in front of it. And if you contradict something stored, what you say now takes precedence.

How do personal insights come about?

Mentavo doesn't just look at the information you track in isolation. As more context builds up, possible connections can become visible, and insights more personal.

What is the Mentavo Map?

The Mentavo Map is the view inside “Discover”: one topic sits at the centre, surrounded by the areas currently connected to it – a state, a routine or an influence, for example. It grows with you: the more real days you record, the more it can show.

Does Mentavo identify causes?

No. When Mentavo shows a connection, it means two things often occur together in your entries – not that one causes the other. You can open any connection and see how many comparison days it rests on and which observations run counter to it. An experiment likewise only gathers further evidence; it does not prove a cause.

What happens to my data?

Personal data is processed to provide Mentavo's features. We explain in detail which data and service providers are involved in our privacy policy.

How can I delete my account?

You can permanently delete your account directly in the app via “Profile → Delete Account.” For more information, see our account deletion page.

Does Mentavo replace professional help?

No. Mentavo supports self-reflection and personal orientation, but it is not a substitute for professional help.
