How it works
How single entries turn into a connection.
Mentavo doesn't collect data to hand it back to you as a chart. It records what you notice in everyday life anyway — and makes visible what keeps coming back.
Six steps that build on each other
- 01Today
You record what's happening.
A check-in on mood and energy, a thought, a completed routine, a goal step. Short enough to still manage on a full day.
- 02
Mentavo knows your personal context.
Those entries don't sit side by side — they sit together: which day it was, what you had planned, what ran differently recently.
- 03Today · Planning
That becomes a next step you can act on.
“Today” suggests exactly one step and names the deciding reason. “Planning” holds the frame around it — week, month, goals, routines.
- 04Discover
Recurring connections become visible.
When the same combination appears often enough, it shows up in your Mentavo Map — with the comparison values and the number of days behind it.
- 05Chats
You can think those topics through.
A recognised pattern can be carried straight into a conversation — in whichever perspective fits the question.
- 06Analytics
Over longer stretches, change becomes visible.
Single days fluctuate. Only across weeks does it show what has actually shifted — in mood, journaling, activity, goals and routines.
Why it gets better over time
Early on, Mentavo deliberately shows very little. A connection resting on three days isn't one — and Mentavo doesn't pretend otherwise.
Only once enough real days are recorded do comparison periods exist that a pattern could be read from at all. That's why the Mentavo Map grows with you instead of being complete on day one.
What Mentavo explicitly does not do
Mentavo does not prove causes.
A recognised connection means two things often occur together. Which of them comes from the other, Mentavo doesn't say — because your entries can't tell it that.
An experiment is an observation period.
Across 7 or 14 days, Mentavo gathers further evidence about a pattern. That sharpens the picture, but it is not proof of effect.
Mentavo does not replace therapy.
Mentavo is a tool for self-observation and everyday orientation — not medical or psychotherapeutic treatment, and not a diagnosis. If you're worried about your health, please speak to a doctor or a qualified mental health professional.
There is no Mentavo score.
Mentavo doesn't rate you with a number and shows no “strength” for a pattern. Only values that genuinely follow from your entries are displayed.
